Plan Well Abroad collects only the limited information needed to operate the site, understand whether its guidance is useful, and respond when you contact us.
Website measurement
Plan Well Abroad records privacy-conscious, first-party activity such as the page visited, an anonymous session identifier, broad referral source, campaign labels included in our own links, fifteen-second engagement, halfway reading, and clicks to major site resources.
This measurement does not store your name, email address, IP address, full referring URL, precise location, advertising identifier, or browser user-agent string. The anonymous session identifier lasts only for the current browser tab or session. We do not use this information for cross-site advertising or sell it to third parties.
Plans saved on your device
The planning tools can save your entries in this browser’s local storage. Saved plans remain on this device until you clear them using Start over or remove the site’s browser data. They are not sent to Plan Well Abroad. Avoid saving a personal plan on a shared device.
Contact messages
If you choose to use the contact form, the information you enter is used to read and respond to your message. Your name and contact information are optional, while a message is required. Messages are processed by Formspree and are not added to a marketing list automatically. Formspree applies its own privacy and retention practices to submitted data.
External links
Articles link to government agencies, hospitals, schools, businesses, and other outside sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices. A link does not give Plan Well Abroad control over an outside site.
